About Bak Zim Charity

We are Ready To make a difference and save the children.

BARK (Billy’s Act of Kindness) was founded by Billy Katiyo, a beneficiary of a number of random acts which were extended to him during his youth days. Billy, together with family and friends, now plough kindness back into the community that raised him.
Billy, family and friends decided to formalise their operations through forming and registering an organisation. Bak has been operating in Zimbabwe since 2016, however, it was formerly registered in December 2018 and its sister organisation, BARK is registered in UK.
For the public benefit, the relief of those in need in Zimbabwe by way of but not exclusively relieving poverty, the advancement of education and sport through the provision of grants, school scholarships, clothing, volunteers to undertake community development projects and the promotion and sponsorship of sporting activities’
We fundraise for our projects through the connections we have world-wide. Our organisation is currently paying school fees for over 60 children. We also work with other trusts and charitable organisations in advancing our organisation’s vision, objective and mission.
